Janai Watson was lucky enough to know exactly what she wanted to be when she grew up. In high school, she signed up for as many artist electives she possibly could: video production, media studies, art, photography and, of course, Graphic Design. She knew she was passionate about it, mainly because she would ask for extra credit assignments and even helped out with school designs. JW started her secondary schooling immediately and graduated with an honours diploma in Graphic Design and New Media Production. By the time she was 20, she had a full time design job at a local sign company and would work there for two years. Once she learned as much as she could, she jumped to an even bigger company, handling print and promotional products. In 2016, Janai left that job behind to start her very own company. By the age of 25, she has a successful freelance design company that is growing and adapting every single day!
